Ex British Army veteran and Diving Instructor the owner, who started diving in Koh Chang in 2005, founded this company in 2013. The current premises have been a dive center for 10 years and he has been getting more involved as an instructor, manager and Managing Director since 2009. In 2012 he went alone and remodeled the new company in the only way he knew how – with military precision.

This is a turnkey business already generating income, with low overheads and is an excellent foothold into Thailand as a business owner – starting off in the right direction and with a work permit.

Since 2007, the shop has been a prominent icon in the dive industry and boasts the largest retail area of any dive center in the Koh Chang archipelago. It was refurbished in 2013 and now sports an eye catching all glass front.

This shop is situated near an amazing beach in a popular retail area favored by families in the busy White Sand Beach. From a decade of presence, it has return customers as well as regular foot traffic – and is directly opposite popular shopping area.

One unit has been converted into a café & classroom, which serves our divers and non-diving clientele before and after the dives, during courses and throughout opening hours.

It has seen excellent results from October to April and the owners are more than happy with the returns vs lifestyle on Koh Chang. Obviously, high season generates more profit and you will have exceptionally busy months between October and February.

The Shop accommodates a large amount of stock, therefore offering choices to your customers. High quality from Mares, mixed with an excellent showroom makes selling equipment and diving very easy. Anything not in stock is easily shipped the same day from HQ in Bangkok, thus offering a 24-hour delivery service on most stock.

The café was created because it was a struggle to find a decent coffee. Now, you get to drink all the caffeine however & whenever you want. Singha Draught is installed in the café, which also has a triple closet/unit refrigerator, single unit fridge, Krups coffee machine, small oven and beautifully crafted design glasses and cutlery.

The shop is on an extendable rental contract with an extremely well known and reputable Landlord. You will sign a new yearly contract with him directly. The land rental cost only 19,000 Bath during 6 month of low season & 24,000 Bath during the 6 month of high season.

This business is the only Mares, Ocean Dynamics & Coultri-Sub supplier on the island (with a long history, therefore extremely beneficial), so applying for the contract will be extremely advantageous. Whilst the current owners cannot sell you this contract, they have agreed to negotiate for you, which is, in one word – attractive. Keep in mind that the deal with Mares does need a 500,000 Bath deposit for a year to get their trust and equipment but it will get lower year after year.
