At the beginning of 2024, we made a significant shift in how our property listings were presented. In order to provide more exclusivity and better cater to serious buyers, 70% of our database transitioned to private status. This meant that detailed information was only accessible through scheduled meetings or direct inquiries at our Koh Chang agency.

While this change helped create a more tailored service, many visitors and owners shared their concerns about the lack of visibility. Some felt that private properties were completely hidden, and buyers were missing out on interesting opportunities. Owners were also worried about how this affected their property’s exposure.

A New Way to Showcase Private Listings

To solve this, we’ve introduced a new feature: Private properties are now visible in search results and listing pages! You’ll see them highlighted in a distinctive color alongside public listings, marked with an unique ID and a note indicating that “Details are available on demand”.

For example this property is private but visible from public pages with limited details :

These listings show basic information like the property title, price, and a general image of the area. For full details or to schedule a visit, you’ll need to contact us directly or stop by our agency. This way, private properties get the visibility they deserve without compromising on confidentiality.

Now, visitors get a complete overview of what’s on the market, whether it’s public or private, making it easier to see all available options and understand the full scope of listings. And for property owners, this means better visibility and a greater chance of connecting with interested buyers.
